The Albion variety has oval leaves with a velvety fuzz. The first flowering begins in May after planting. Albion’s flowers are a rich white, arranged in clusters of several small blossoms.

A distinctive feature of Albion is its large, juicy fruits. The average kiwi size from a young plant is 140-170 g.

Planting Location
When planting, choose a sunny, open spot. Set up support for the plant. This can be special stakes, a fence, a gazebo, or other structures—similar to those used for grapes!
Soil Requirements
Preferably well drained, light, and slightly acidic soils. Clay soils should be mixed with sandy soil and fertile earth when planting.
Fertilizer Application
Avoid over-fertilizing!
Excessive fertilizer significantly weakens the plant. If desired, apply complex mineral fertilizers 2-3 times per season.
Watering Tips
Do not let the topsoil dry out, so keep the soil around your kiwi moisturized.
Plant Care
Prune kiwi shoots regularly. To keep the plant tidy, prune similarly to grapevines.
