Adeyemi Ogunlee from Port Harcourt: how a 55-year-old fisherman provided for his family and changed his life
An unexpected encounter
That day, Adeyemi says, a group of tourists came into the port. Among them was a man from Britain—Richard Brooks, a traveler exploring West Africa’s coastal regions. He asked Adeyemi to guide him through local bays and show the best fishing spots.
“We spent almost the whole day together,” Adeyemi recalls. “He was surprisingly easy to talk to. We talked about the sea, about children, about life. I couldn’t have imagined that conversation would change everything.”
At the end of the trip, Richard told him what he does: he trades on financial platforms, earns remotely, and can travel without being tied to a job on land. For Adeyemi, who had spent his life between a fishing boat and a shabby house by the shore, it sounded like a story from another world.
First steps
“At first I didn’t understand anything. Words, charts, numbers—everything felt foreign. But after three months I began to notice patterns and try things on my own. When the first profit came, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It wasn’t much money, but it was earned with my head, not my hands.”
A new chapter
“Recently I bought a car,” he smiles. All my life I watched them from the pier when tourists arrived. I never thought I’d one day sit behind the wheel of my own. And all this because I wasn’t afraid to try.”
“We live in times when the sea of opportunity is wider than the ocean I fished in. The main thing is not to fear taking the first step. Everything else will follow.”
The life he built himself
“I haven’t stopped being a fisherman. I just catch opportunities instead of fish,” he jokes.
How to follow Adeyemi’s path
Stay disciplined and record every result, even unsuccessful ones.
“I didn’t study at a university, but I realized one thing: everyone has a chance. In 2025 it isn’t necessary to work with your hands to provide for your family. You just need some effort and belief in yourself. If it worked for me, it can work for you, too.”

Is this kind of income truly possible without an initial deposit? Or do you need to put in some money to get started?
Kareem, I tried it myself — you can start for free, there’s training and a demo mode. The key is to learn first before trading live.
I’ve been on binary options for about a month. The profits aren’t big yet, but they’re real. What matters is staying calm and not clicking randomly.
I thought it would be complicated, but after the training it made sense. I’ve done a few successful trades and feel more confident now.
How long does it usually take to reach at least $100 a month? I want to try, but my time is limited.
It took me about a month and a half. Now I make between $5 and $10 a day. Discipline matters more than speed.
I showed the article to my friend. He didn’t believe it at first, then he registered. Now we learn together and compare results.
Is it convenient to work from the phone, or is a laptop better?
Yara, I use only my phone. The interface is simple and you can place predictions on the go. Super convenient.
Thanks for the article. I’d been looking for an honest way to earn without upfront capital. I’ve already downloaded the app!
I didn’t believe it was possible until I tried. I withdrew my first profit recently — not much, but it’s real.
I’m from Lagos. I used to do casual labor like Adeyemi. Now I believe I can change too. The main thing is to start and not be afraid.
Does anyone know how long withdrawals take? I want to try but need to be sure the system is safe and fair.
Fadi, I’ve withdrawn twice — funds arrived within 1–2 days. Just make sure your details are correct.
I started only a week ago. Learned quickly that success depends on strategy, not emotions. Thanks to Adeyemi for the motivation!
I downloaded the app and finished the training — everything is clear. Now I want to reach results like Adeyemi’s!
I read Adeyemi’s story and it’s really inspiring. I’ve started learning binary options and I’m practicing on a demo account now. I wonder how much a person can realistically make?
